Can a stock LT1 M6 spin or chirp 2nd gear?

[QUOTE=MPZ28]Burnouts are cool and all. But after so many, it gets expensive. All you need to know is that You should kill any Mustang on the road. Nuff said.

How should an M6 that is nearly stock (or catback and CAI) behave on the 1st-2nd shift under WOT? A little spin, just a chirp, or nothing at all?
It has 3.42s also...

seriously though, just about any car will chirp second and third if they powershift.
and why wouldn't a stock LT1 kill a mustang? i don't follow ford much. do they have some new badass i need to know about?

2nd gear is more of a slide and 3rd gear chirps, I once had a 4th gear chirp but i was so little that i could barely hear it. i never let off the throttle when i shift and just go with it. and i still have the stock shifter!!!!!!!!

My car is bone stock '97 Z/28 besides a hurst shifter and bfg g-force kdw's w/ 22k miles...They hook pretty damn good, (well enough that I can pretty much floor it in 1st at 5 mph and it pretty much hooks and goes), and when it's dry my car will absolutely not spin them in 2nd...A quick shift 1-2 will get a chirp and that's it, I got it to chirp 2-3 once but it was on a bumpy road so that's not really fair to say that... Now commin' around corners the rear end will step out no problem, lmao
I'm sure if I had the stockers, (GSC's) it would light them up no problem in 2nd though

mY CAR, semi-stock '96 Z28,M6 has never had a problem chirping the tires with the traction control turned off. WOT, dump the clutch, and I can get sideways pretty quick.
I live in Port Arthur Texas, I probably run out to Houston once or twice a month. In my limited exposure, late model GT Mustangs are a joke. I literally drive circles around them. Even left a Saleen Mustang @ 90mph, and again at 105mph.
I haven't seen any Cobras on I-10, but I'm looking.
