Can i cut the dip stick tube?
If your trimming the bottom of the dipstick tube you do not need to shorten the dipstick or renotch it.
The dipstick tube has a collar where it will go into the block only so far, this stays the same whether you trim the tube or not so it will not change how the dipstick reads.
All you are doing is trimming off some of the tube to help get it into the block everything else stays the same.
