camber problems

I installed springs on my car and they lowered it about 1.5" all the way around. Now i'm experiencing some tire wear on the inside of the front tires. I realize that I need to adjust the camber on the front, but does anyone know what the specs are and how I would adjust it?

Factory camber is 0.4º ± 0.5º.

A shop will need to make your adjustments. It is done by moving the lower a-arm.

There are recommended front suspension alignment recommendations for stock and lowered cars in the 4th Gen FAQ. Check section 4.5, Suspension.

When my car was lowered, I used similar specs:

Caster +4deg
Camber -1deg
Toe in 0.10

Steering was very neutral, and there was no unusual tire wear.

As Rob/Shoebox noted, you need to have the full alignment done by a very high quality front end shop. Its a "given" that this is required after lowering the car. Many of the shops will not work on lowered cars, and some will not use your settings, only factory standard. You have to look around for a shop that will work on your car and set it the way you want it.
