BMR K member issue

BMR K member issue
I have done a search on this and found out that I'm not the only person having this issue, but I still have a question. My car is a 93 Z/28 drag car with a BMR K member and upper and lower control arms. The issue is that the lower control arms have apparently slipped in the adjustment slots creating severe negative camber. According to the search I have done, this is an issue that others have had. It appears as though the solution is basically just tighten the bolts as tight as you can get them, then tighten them some more. My question is this: if you tighten the bolts tight enough so that they can't slip in the slots, couldn't this cause issues with the control arm's normal up and down movement during suspension travel?

Re: BMR K member issue
Here's what BMR says about this issue:
You have to tighten those bolts very tight to keep those mounting points from moving. Our k-member setup works just like the factory k-member setup so as long as the bolts are tightened down enough you are good to go. If you are having movement at that mounting point than the bolt isn’t tightened down enough on the inner sleeve in the bushing for the lower a-arms. Tightening down the bolt very tight is required and won’t affect the articulation or performance at all. When you tighten down that mounting point it compresses against the inner sleeve and the polyurethane bushing rides on that inner sleeve so there is no change in articulation or suspension travel.
Just get the car back on an alignment rack and get the alignment set. Once that is done tighten the lower a-arm bolts down as much as you can and you will be set.
