Which brand of optispark to buy for my 94

I believe that a factory optispark for my 94 is no longer available from GM ?
If so, what brand should I buy that is most reliable. I checked EBay and see that there are a number of repro's but look cheap

Can someone please recommend one that seems to be the most reliable.
Thank you

This is the first I've heard the OEM part is no longer available. People have been buying them (now labeled as Delphi) in large numbers up to this point.

Not true. GM optis are available at places like Summit, GM, any place that sells AC-Delco, etc.
Some people are trying the Chandler Motorsports opti, but the jury is still out on the quality.

Summit lists the GM Performance Parts unvented Opti as "Ships Tomorrow". Try the sources that Shoebox lists for a lower price:

I would go with an OEM optispark. I replaced mine around 7 years ago (give or take a year), and it's been perfect since then. It may cost more, but considering the time needed to replace it, it's worth a few extra dollars.

Listen to me Don't think you can get away with buying a cheap one. I promise you'll spend more in the long run. You'll spend countless hours wondering if it's the opti and probing around wires, checking codes and wondering more and more and more. I spent 3 years fighting one's that had a lifetime warranty and ones for around 100$ on ebay. Their shiny, look good look real good and some may be ok but were not for me. I honestly sleep better at night knowing I have a delphi opti on the front of my car. Well I'm just bitter over cheap optis
