With all bolt ons and a hotcam kit i ran dead even with my friend that drives an 03 cobra that trapped 110 at the track. So i am in that area. Havent had a chance to go to the track. Going to the dyno this summer. Hoping for 335 - 340 RWHP. We'll see............

That is bull**** and you know it. Spinning sometimes gives some MPH, but not 10, come on.

I got a video of my car, whoopee do. My car is only has a cam and here is a video to prove it. A video means squat and I it amazes me that you believe that ****....he has video...must be telling the truth...

I have been around enough people that it is not uncommon to omit mods to make yourself look better. That is a fact.

I see cars all the time dynoing and I know the power it takes to run those times. A 306 cam and 4.10 gears do not make 115 MPH traps at the track. Only on a G-tech.

would u like to see the video of my 115 mph pass?
or how about a video of me beating a LS1 from a roll that runs 11.9 @ 116 at the track ? Or maybe a video of me staying neck and neck with a 381 RWHP LT4 SS (stage 2 heads, Hotcam etc)?
Oh yeah..my car tends to trap higher if i actually hook. So harder i hook, the higher my mph

Here is a video of my car running....

It has only a GTP-4 cam and minor boltons.....

http://www.geocities.com/jmaxnakron/Z28-VIDEO.html

Video is there...must be true?

I could go around and tell everyone that and make people feel that there cars are slow because with the same mods, they are tapping 5-10 MPH less....

I could not tell you how many cars I have seen that were only lightly modded and when you get the truth, it was far from it.

lol..on my video u can actually see the time at the end
oh yeah about tunning....the only tunning i had done was to mess round with timming part throtle to get rid of cam surge. I didnt mess around with the PE table as many people said not to touch it without the wideband O2 sensor. Just recently i started to mess around with the PE table as i have a EGT guage, so i can lean it out a bit.

Well, I'm not saying that spinning alone is worth 10mph. I'm saying that with his cam and a few mods more than me; I'd expect to see better than my 105mph trap.

So, giving him 6mph or so more with his mods and some spin; 10mph isn't unbelievable.

And, I do understand what you mean about people hiding or omitting mods. There was a guy that came to our Darlington shoot out and was running like 12.7s at 120mph with what he said was a lid and catback on LS1!! We thoroughly checked his car and found a sneaky pete NOS system hid (very well hid I might add)...he was full of "ummms, uhhhs, wells" once we pointed that out on our forums and hasn't responded since.

Saint has no reason to lie, I think he's rather excited about his times - it's not like we're having fantasy gambler's races here on the boards. Again, from his ETs; he's making up mad time from that 60' and his 1/8th mile. I'm not THAT gullable a person to just say, I see the video, it must be true. But, again...he's running a little faster than I am and he's got more mods and a cam and a lil' more weight than me. It's not far-fetched at all.

I ran the times below with bolton's, before adding the cam,rr's,waterpump. Running it tomorrow for the first time since the cam. Shooting for mid 12's now, & another 3-4 mph, we'll see

Stockheads Crane 210/224 automatic car 116.56 light weight car ,baby cam. Crane 220/230 6 speed ,stockheads 118 heavier car bigger cam. many ways to do it. I would run faster than 116.5 but I'm getting to the finish to quick to make mph Frank95z

Why are people questioning xxSaint69xx's mph when Frank is running mid 11s @ 116.5 NA with stock heads...that seems a little more farfetched.....nice numbers man!!!!

Skepticism is HIGH on these boards. Like I was saying, compared to what I'm running, basically stock with bolt-ons compared to what Saint is running with bolt ons and the 306, I don't see any room for argument. He's 10mph faster than I am and probably has 35 or more HP with more weight.

I know guys hitting 114 with the HotCam and stock long block/ full bolt ons.. I could easily see 115-116 mph out of a CC306.

Is it the norm?/ Nope. But some cars just run better.. I hit almost 110 mph with just bolt ons and no cam in a 3650 weight car including my fat a$$. I see other guys with similiar bolt ons hitting 5 mph less than me..
It also must be ideal conditions, like a cooler day at a track near sea level.. There are soo many variables when looking a times.

I agree. My 105mph pass was in 95* weather in the HUMID south!! I'm sure Saint knows ALL about humid weather!! lol

Skinnies, light tires, massive weight reduction, automatics with good stalls, a lot of suspension work, serious tuning, -3000 DA....they make quite a difference.

Never see these magical 115+ mph cam only cars at my local tracks, never see these awesome dyno #'s at the shop.

But I live in Ohio, on a mountain, in 99 % humidity with average temps in the 100's....
