Chrism400 my car is like yours driven regularly, stockheads, stockshortblock, stock torque arm, etc. Some of these websites keep track of cam only with bolt on times. On Dec.10,2005 I ran 11.27 118.90 with my setup and don't know anyone who has run faster with a cam only Na LT1 setup(not a stock eliminater car). My car weighs 3300#s with me in it.I've kept track of your "Greenbean" car. You deliver pizzas with 4.56 gears? Frank95z

I know - isn't it sick? The worst part is it's a spool too ! I own a pizza shop in Beavercreek, OH and on occasion, I have to deliver when it gets busy. With the 4 speed trans, it's not too bad. I rarely go over 45 mph delivering in the city so it's not too hateful. The gas mileage is pretty horrendous though. I get alot of smiles pulling this car up to people's houses with it lopeing in their driveway.

The track here KILKARE is a pretty good little track but it's at 900 ft. If I were to take it to Cincy, I think their track is somewhere around 400 but I heard that Edgewater doesn't prep their track very well for T&T.

I'll tell you what, 11.20's is flat kickin'. The mph is especially good. With a 3100# car though, it makes sense. My 9 inch rear is probably costing some mph, as well as the stock salad shooters. I just can't seem to get any better than mid 113's. Now that E-check is gone here, I can get a bit more crazy. Did you do that with a hydraulic roller?

It's a nice record Frank, and it may just be too far out of reach for my tired engine. If you keep working on that thing, you may just reach a high 10 with that trap speed. Good luck to you.

with slicks the car ran 113 and spinning on street tires ran almost 116..

the car dynoed 360rwhp and 380 rwtq....this is with ZERO carb tuning

check out my links in my sig for some sight and sounds.....

the idle movie is a cold startup and its idleing at under 500 rpms

I made 317/341 with LT's and 224/236 cam with minimal tuning. I still have a lot of work on the dyno to do. It runs good how it sits though. Im not a straightliner, so I dont have any ET's to post.

Cool Re: BOLTON+CAM guys...w/stock heads...post your MPH/dyno

I'd like to keep this thread alive as I would like to get be a cam only LT1-Z in the future.
For now my main goal is to get as close to the 11's as possible with a 6spd. and strictly bolt-ons and not going into the engine. I hope that adding 1.6 or 1.7 rockers doesn't conflict with that as I would like to install some and need to research more on which ones to install. Don't see too many 1.7 RR's at all and wondering how much they would improve the #'s vs. the 1.6's. Oh well, that question is for another thread.
My numbers are in the sig. below. I'd liked to have had some new ET #'s however last time I went to the track about a month ago, I broke my rear end so no new best numbers yet. Sucks! because I was geting faster and faster with each run.....

I'd really like to see how much RR's & a nice CAM would do for my MPH!!!!
Oh yeah, my best MPH is low 111's, my sig only shows best ET....

Oh yeah, he did have a quick LT1 for a while, right? Seems everyone down here is turned off to the LT1s lately...Oh well, I'm sticking around. Your car sounds nice, hope to see it running about soon. I live off Dr's Lake (Kingsley area). Don't get the car out much, and I'm still considering selling the LT4 'Hawk as I haven't really done anything to it since getting it last Feb. Kind of afraid to romp on it too hard just yet.

35 hp is no where near 10 mph. 10mph is quite a it more then 35 HP.

Bring it back again, I'm looking for a daily driver cam for my beater Z. Always been an interesting and informative thread.
