Re: Biggest cam for daily driver??????????

just depends on what you consider "daily driver" and "streetable" My last car I drove it everyday with a cc306. I drive my other car nearly everyday and I'm running a lunati .637/.640 lift with 259/266 duration. I drive it all the time during the summer on the street with no issues. Just sucks on gas mileage

396/365 or something along those lines untuned. How does it drive... I think it drives fine, has some surge but i think alot of that could be taken out with a good tune. I will trade you for your 306. It is a billet core cam, has only 3 or 4k miles on it.

I've got a 234/242 on a 112LSA in my Daily Driver... The Maxima is for work, mainly.

Re: Biggest cam for daily driver??????????

I have the GM847 and have no Driveabity issues at all, will it pass smog, I really doubt it, but anything is possible I guess. I see out of all your mods you don't have a stall listed, that would lead to huge drivability issues with a 306. I think anyone would consider a well tuned 847/306 to be streetable, hell my wife drives my car all the time and let me tell you she ain't no Danika Patrick, she can't even drive a stick. The tune is key to making the bigger cams work, I played with mine until I have no surge, it idles great and make excellent power, all with a stock TB and 3.23.

heres and idle vid, might not be there for long
