Which design works best for idle quality, spray pattern, staying clean , etc. for large LT1 street stroker engines for touring purposes. No Drag racing on strip. Thanks.

 

Moving to "LT1 Engine Tech".

You might want to mention what kind of HP levels you are planning on, and whether you will be using a stock PCM or an aftermarket ECU. That might affect the answer.

 

Thanks for pointing out some other factors. Car is a 93 Z-28 with factory ECM. Power levels from 500-550 fwhp. 4L-60 auto trans extreme duty with 2600-2800 stall. This will be a semi daily driver type car. No strip drag racing planned. To be a touring type car . Thanks for any info on injector types and reason. Looking at 36-42 lb injectors.

 

Just curious...what do you have against Bosch or Lucas?

 

Not anything. The ex. was for example. I wanted to see which one is better in LT1 use between Bosch and Lucas. Thanks for for replies.

I have 38lb'ers from PTE pretty happy with them. I got them on sale though and they are a bit higher now, but still not too badly priced.

Thanks Dave. Those PTE injectors are disc type. Probably like the lucus type.

 

whats wrong with some good old ford motorsport injectors, other then they have a ford symbol on the box.
