Accel Extreme 9000's without a doubt...but you have to take care routing ANY brand of wires on these motors.

Re: Best plug wires?

I almost bought the Accel 9000's online but the car was running pretty crappy and I really wanted to get it running right that day...can't stand driving it when it isn't running the way it should. So I just got an OEM set of Beldens and used them with the Taylor boot protectors for now. Gonna seriously consider the over the cover method soon along with some long tubes. Have the SLP shorties now but since there is no inspection here I think I am going to go with LT's for performance and hopefully some better plug and wire access. Thanks for all the opinions.

Re: Best plug wires?

I have the Accel 9000s routed in the stock locations, with uncoated Mac headers and Ive never had a problem. I'd reccomend them as well.

Re: Best plug wires?

I have used MSD 8.5 . I also purchased the DEI boot protectors that where braided fiberglass. They worked great. The boot was laying on the header but thru the protector in two places. The only thing I noticed was the boot, which was red, was white where it had made contact.Always have used msd and I always will. Always satisfied
