Best place to get a custom grind?
What are the best companies to get a custom grind done? I am looking at Advanced Induction right now.... any others?

This thread could get ugly. Anyway, there are several good vendors on this board offering custom cams. The SEARCH function is your friend. Also remember that it’s not just getting the cam…it’s getting the proper valvetrain with it. Service/trouble shooting after the sale is also something to consider. E-mail or call and couple of them and see how quickly and in-depth they answer your questions.

i can get info if you are really intersted,he is hungarian, and did a grind or two on Chris Secora's LT-1 the fastest LT-1 in america, and the guy is local for me,Charlie something or another, his business is Budapest tool and he is very good, only if your interested cause he takes his jobs very seriously and is a very knowledgeable machinist,if you dont have some cash then don't bother, but if you wanna maybe call him and have him quote it,i will try to get in touch with him. *Serious inquiries only* as well as next door to him is one of the best welders in the business Gary Wealther at Precision Tool Weld in Itasca Illinois, he could weld anything from the ***** of a mosquito to a crack on a a ships hull, well maybe not the hull but he is very talented and schooled in welding, and yes there is an art.it not just glob and go!
