I have an aftermarket radiator but I never put it in. I simply removed the A/C condesnsor and compressor and the car runs alot cooler. Doesn't usually go above 190F or so.

Before that it would go almost into the red.

A set of pusher fans also helps.

I am running a single 16-in low profile Spal Fan. Due to space in my engine compartment that is all I could fit. I recently removed the AC condensor and am thinking of mounting a pusher on the back of my radiator.

How much did the Single 16" Spal run you?

If I can remember right I think it cost me $179.00. It is pricey but by far one the best fans you can buy.

My two signal 10" pusher fans were $20 each.

I was thinking of ditching the heavy stock fans for a SPAL.

Where did you get it and do you have a model number? How did you mount it? Would you have a pic by any chance? And the low profile fan will clear the heavy Duty Meziere pump?

Thanks,
Dean

Sorry I do not have any pics. I bought the fan such a long time ago so you may want to do a search on Yahoo for a vendor. Currently my fan setup clears my blower pulley (12-rib) and CSI waterpump. My fan is mounted on my Be Cool radiator using long plastic fasteners which go through the fins of the radiator. If I were you I would install your radiator and waterpump and measure how much space you have between them. This will help you figure out the proper back spacing. Are you currently running an AC condensor?

Somthin must be wrong with your guys' cooling systems.

My 383 never goes over 170 or so unless hot lapping it at the track which it will only go up to 190.

Running stock radiator, stock pump, 160* thermo, and straight water. I dont even think i bled the system, i cant remember

There is nothing wrong with my cooling system when my car was pretty much stock. The reason I went with a Be Cool radiator is because I got a great deal on it. My setup is far from stock and requires better cooling which the stock setup could not support. Your car is pretty much stock so I can understand why you are not have any cooling issues.

I am still running the AC condensor. I will take some measurements, figure what will fit and give it a try. THis is my last issue before I can drive again!
