Re: Bad night at the strip

Your TCS shouldn't even let you spin your tires. If I try to floor it, it kicks my foot back. Even with my TCS on I can drive over 50 mph. I'd check the cats too.

Ya, TCS doesn't limit speed, just wheelspin. Definitely check out the cats.

Re: Bad night at the strip

they probably fouled up your 02s, probably your plugs, could have even burnt your exhaust valves.

I think I'll bring my car out there. I should probablly run about 130 in the quarter with my little cam.

If your "Low Trac" light comes one, thats your ABS, remove the relays like i said.

Yes the fuse/relay box with the little tab you unscrew. Just look at the labels. It will say ABS on it. There is also a fuse you can pull.

Re: Bad night at the strip

ok i dissabled the abs like you said and i replaced the o2s and the plugs are fine. and the damn thing still is stuttering every now and then. and now its throwing the ses light for about 30 sec and then it goes off and about 30 min later it will flash again. so i hooked my scanner and its not throwing a code when it flashes . so i thought it might be the rear o2 making it flash since the cats gone so my buddie let me use his o2sim. and it still threw the code. any ideas? im believing mor and more that this car has caught the dsm diesease.
