B+M Shift kit opions?and install?

Hello Guys, I have a 94 Z28 A4 ,Ijust bought a B+m Transpak Kit to firm up my shifts ,and allow me to mannually shift up through the gears in hopes of being alble to get more rpms out of the gearing! But now I'm hearing that this could shorten the life of my stock tranny,is this true? Also I bought a B+M megashifter to get percise rachet shifts, now I also hear they are a pain to install is this true?Anyone out there got any experience in this area, or have any advise? please advise!! Thanks Rich

Stay away from B&M and go with the Trans-Go Performance Shift. Are you using an after market TC? What rear end gears are you running? The kit is somewhat adjustable for tayloring firmness.
