Anyone use this?

Was looking at ltcc ext...then i came across this amazing site.

TORQHEAD LTD - HOME

Has anyone used this at all?? Looks amazing...i hope someone has with dyno numbers or videos ext. Will eliminate opti and make use for even a sbc1 timing chain or a belt from jessel!! This is what i want for my motor if i can get my hands on it money wise. Any thoughts?

Re: Anyone use this?

It's similar to the EFI Connection 24X conversion. Main difference is it's more plug-and-play, hence more expensive. There are people on the ltxtech.com site using it. They sometimes have systems listed on their parts for sale forum.

The system is not some miracle HP producer, when compared to a healthy Opti. The advantage is eliminating the Opti problems, gaining the advantage of the LSx 8 coil-near-plug setup, and the advanced tuning capabilities of the required LS PCM. Tyree Smith maintains his record-holding 8.0-second LT1 still uses an Opti.

Not sure what advantage you feel you will gain with a Jessel belt-drive? There was a great comparison article - chain, belt, gear - in Engine Masters magazine the showed no real difference in performance.
