Anyone with Jet Hot LT's come in please, have a question
That's kinda weird how the one header comes with one tube disassembles and has to be slipped on seperate. Should I put this piece on before or after installation to make it easier? Will just sliding it on keep it from leaking?
I have had both Hooker's and Jet-Hot Lt's. I just installed the Jet-Hot's this past weekend, put the slip tube on after you have bolted the header down. Your steering arm/linkage with have to be unbolted. My Hooker slip tube fit very loosely and leaked, the Jet-hot slip tube was a very tight fit and required wd-40 to get it to slide all the way in and I have had no leaks as of yet.
Good luck.

Good luck.

Yeah, after the rest is loosley bolted on. Mine was hard, but get a rubber mallet, and tap it while somebody else tries to twist it from underneath. I didn't disconnect any steering linkage. But it was a tight fit.
