Get the Lisle tool. It comes with multiple sizes. The pressure line is 3/8" and the return (back) line is 5/16".

Also, try pushing in on the "bell" part of the fitting, push your tool up inside it and give a slight twising/pulling motion. Don't get too carried away because you can damage or break the metal clips that hold the line on. They cannot be purchased separately.

ah i was supposed to get those plastic ones that come with like 6 different sizes in them. but instead i bought this piece of **** metal thing that doesnt even line up right guess i gotta go to AZ tomorrow again

when connecting them back on, they just push back on and clip right?

and on the shock towers, i have all the bolts/nuts off except for one bolt on the passenger side/ the assembly is starting to drop away from the frame, is it gonna bust anything if i still ahve the kmember bolted up?

and i only see 2 bolts on each side for the kmember, im told there are 6? shoebox, any pics of those?

The fuel line connectors just push back on. A drop of oil on the tube wouldn't hurt (see pic).

The bolts should be pretty obvious since they are large. (38 and 43 are two of them)

so it looks like you have to take the bolt holding the lower control arm off as well correct?

No. The arm needs to stay on. The bolts should go from the K member directly into the body. The back mount on the LH side (right side of diagram) is obscured.

so wait, those studs on the strut towers where the stb goes, they arent connected to the shock assembly? So really there is 2 bolts on each side holding the shocks/a-arms/etc

and will i have to disconnect the power steering?

There are two studs and two bolts on each side for the shock assemblies that must be removed. I believe the p/s reservoir can be unmounted from the RH shock tower and taken out with the engine without breaking open any of the hoses.

im confused.

there are 2 studs and 2 bolts on each shocktower. I have removed both bolts from each side. and also taken the 2 nuts off the studs on each side.

do the studs stay with the car or go with the shock assembly? I only ask b/c how did he use the stb to raise the body then? maybe there is a nut on the bottom that has to be undone?

That's correct. I went out and bought some bolts to bolt the STB to the strut tower mounting point.

You have to remove all four bolts on the strut towers and than bolt the STB. You first have to start to lower the cradle down a little before you can bolt the STB up.

In this pic the STB is just laying on top. The cradle has already started to come down

In this pic the STB is bolted up

On the t56 do i need to remove the 3 bolts holding the bracket which holds the tq arm bushing? Im looking on kens site and looks like the bushing "cover" just folds up and the tq arm slides out?

But he has the top bolt out and loosened another up?

Please help!
