Aluminum Valve Covers
Aluminum Valve Covers
Does anyone have Canton fabbed aluminum valve covers? If so do they clear 1.6 rockers? I would also like to see pics of them installed if you have them. Thanks, Dave
Re: Aluminum Valve Covers
I'm not familiar with the Cantons, but if they have the factory style webbing then they likely will not clear roller rockers. I've got aluminum Wysco covers and I had to have my machinist grind out the webbing to clear my 1.6s.

Re: Aluminum Valve Covers
I will let you know if they fit by the weekend. I ordered there regular ones without the notch because I relocated my alternator. On a side not, i do not see how they wouldn't, there should be virtually no webbing on these, thats the point of them, so they can clear shaft rockers and setups of that sort. My factory valve covers almost fit, but the longer valves, and 1.6 NSA rockers just made it a tad too tall.

$245 + $15 shipping. I've looked around and I cannot find a vendor that sells them. Let alone sell them for cheaper.
