check engine light comes on when cooling fans come on?
comes on when fans for radiator turn on. goes off when fans turn off at a standstill.... but comes back on when i got over 1800 rpm?
i think it could be a combination of two things?
1. electrical?
2. o2's

It's actually the other way around. Your fans are coming on because a code is being tripped. It's a fail-safe the computer uses for certain codes.
You really need to have the PCM scanned and pull the code out of it before you can even begin to guess what is causing it.

Before you spend money, try checking your fuses. Specifically your air pump fuse located under the hood. Might not be it buy it's worth a shot.

What year is your car?
Autozone will scan an OBD-II car ('96+) for free. If you have OBD-I ('93-'95), you can purchase a cable and download free software to do it yourself.
Just do a search on the board for OBD-I and freescan.
