Aluminum Drive shaft

What do you think about an aluminum DS on a daily driver? And any suggestions on which one?

How much RWHP do you think I would gain from it?

i would think maybe 1 if you are lucky. Less rotational mass but probably nothing significant

maybe 1-2 hp. Its more for weight savings and gets rid of transmission vibrations

I found that the LPE aluminum ds made a surprising difference in acceleration. There's no downside to an aluminum ds unless you have enough power to hurt it.

I bought the LPE driveshaft cuz it was on sale and
is 3.5" diameter. I'm running 3.42s so I could not
tell any difference from the stocker. It sure looks
pretty though.
