From the looks of it they are pretty equal..... And i will be running it on stock heads for a while.... probably about 6 months..... Until i can have the money to do the heads..... BUT i might have the money to do both at the same time this summer.... what do yall think??? Any opinions welcome!

atjlar has gone 11.9x or so with a 847 and stock heads... (launching it pretty hard)
and cc306 is like the limits of a stock head imo
i'll be putting my cc306 tommorow... i'm on stock heads as well, i'll let u know what happens
i did see a dyno of a stock head cc306 with bolt on goodies dynoing like 350+ tho

GM847 and the 306 are no where near equal...
306 compared to an 847 is like comparing the 306 to the hotcam... Even though both the 306 & hotcam are both wimpy cams
Hell even the 847 is still kinda small in my book
DEFNIATELY go with the 847 cam
BUT with stock heads :blah: I would go the 306... Just cause dude you can't be trying to slap on BIG cam's on STOCK HEADS

Don't get all butt hurt cause you put a 306 in your car and it's slow... You being HIGH 12's and all
BAHAHHAHAHAAHA Maybe next time you will get a better cam
Oh wow. There's not much difference between the cams.
306 = 230/244 .510/.540 112lsa
847 = 234/242 .575/.595 112lsa
This thread is obviously going nowhere.

the ramps are alot diffenert between the two and also the valve timing is diferent.
and i bet if you do your reasearch on the 2 you will find alot of difference between the two. if you were going to spray it the 306 is better. because the
personally if i were to buy a off the self cam it would be the 847 on a 110 over the 306 anyday.
here are the spec cards.
