Almost done with cam install, couple questions??
Hey guys, I am just about done with my cam swap, I am just running into a couple problems. Basically I need to know that best way to get the crank sprocket back on as well as the hub. With the A/C condensor in there it is hard to get any sort of swing from a hammer or anything. Just wonder what the methods you guys have used was and if there is one that is better than the next.
Any help is appreciated, thanks

you need to put a short pipe or something in the middle of the hub or you will mushroom the end of it hammering it on the crank so the balancer wont fit... ask me how i know
as far as getting enough swing.. just get a heavy hammer and you wont need a lot of room to swing.

Beating it on is not the best way to do it. A high grade threaded rod with washers and nut or a real installation tool should be used.
