I'm thinking of going with AI for a "full port" on my LT1 heads. Should I go ahead and have the intake "street/strip" ported as well?

Assuming I go ahead with the AI Heads, Intake, cam... What can I really expect. I've seen over 400rwhp with full ported heads only.

To tell you what's really on my mind... I don't want the C6's smokin my ***.

dont worry about C6's, everyone thats gonna own one anytime soon most likely wont know how to drive, or care to race them to begin with
but with a good combination putting down 400+ to the wheels, i dont see a C6 being much of a threat

 

I guess you'll find out in a few months when the C6's start hitting the streets.

 

Racing isn't all about peak rwhp.

 

I would expect since a C6 is lighter than a ZO6 and has about the same hp/tq rating (whether they are underrated or not will be determined soon), they should run very similar to a ZO6 and should trap 114-117mph stock with a capable driver.

Will84 - You will be able to trap that mph with AI heads/cam. I doubt you'll be "spanking" them, but you'll take your fair share, and may lose your fair share as well.
