installing functional ram air set-up

I posted about my snorkel being in the way of my CSI water pump, and a 1LE intake boot was suggested. I currently have a K&N CAI on it, but I put an SLP hood on it a few weeks ago, and I have The ram air airbox assembly as well, but I havent installed it yet. It looks like the stock z28 boot will not work with this setup it heads too far outboard in the engine bay. I'm looking for suggestions from those of you that have done real good official clones! Does the SS have a different boot?

Your CAI will flow better than your ram air, because of the baffles that the hood will have. The ram air is good for highway speeds and faster.

The CAI WILL flow better and be better performing than the SS ram-air setup.

I'd stay with the CAI in your situation.
