Over two years and two engines and they still can't get it right
If nick thinks i'm going away he's crazy, because i never been so pissed of in my life.

I have talked to nick a few times and he makes you feel that you can believe what he tells you,wrong, he's a professional liar and crook.Believe me nick is going to get what he deserves.

Racing engines they can't even build a normal street engine for every day use.I had two engines from them and the only thing good was the parts and they aren't any good if not put together proper.I could not use the car for over two years now i find out the pistons are no good for a supercharged engine.So this will be the thrid time the engine will have to come out
I'm going to be restrained for once and only say ARE (Nick) is playing upon international laws to protect him. He continues to produce something less than high school shop project quality while promoting them as "state-of-the-art" racing engines.
The guy should be in prison and if it were not for international borders and a civil law vs criminal law mentality........ he would be.

I had the exact same problems with a 383 they sent me. It was out of balance and upon teardown not a single spec matched the build sheet. Everything must have been used as the bearings looked like they had 150,000 miles on them instead of only 15,000. ARE also must have gotten dirt into the engine as there was big groves in the crank or it was that way and they just put it in. Absolute con artists!!!!!!!!!!
Way too many other things wrong to even begin to list them. An absolute piece of junk.

I would give them a chance. I had a half *** dyno tune done by previous management last year.
Nick just redyno tuned the car at his expense and it runs much better.
He is personally paying out his **** for all the screw ups that were done while he was gone. The stories are unbelievable.

Somehow your not getting it.
I gave Nick a second chance after he screwed me on a set of $4K 227 AFR heads and so has a whole bunch of others. The second chance I got was an absolute junk engine and another set of junk heads. Nothing, I repeat NOTHING....... on this engine matched the spec's in the build sheet except for the brand of pistons. The rest was off someone elses build sheet where he just put my name on it. That included the flow sheets also. The actual flow didn't come close to what the sheet said on two different set of heads.
The guy knows exactly what he's selling and there are plenty fresh of people lined up whom don't know what there getting into. What ya gonna do? He is in Canada and knows he can get away with it.

Couldn't use the car for two years all my work and money where my chance.

There are legitimate business transactions in which problems arise and there are purposely deceptive and dishonest people who use the gray areas of the law to get away with flat out thievery. White collar crime at it’s lowest level.
Nick can be very charming and very knowledgeable. But, isn’t every con artist!?! After all that’s how they get you to send them the money in the first place.
I sent him a 398ci block in trade and he turned around and sold it has new to someone whom had been waiting for 8 months for a “new 396 block”. This is after they had sent ARE their engine and the car sat for 8 months. At the same time he also tried to tell me my block wasn’t worth anything because the Oliver rods were cast and not forged. I called Oliver and they never made a cast rod. Another of his typical scams of selling used equipment as new and trying to screw the person whom they got it from..

ARE has always given the local Canadian car club here decent service. They have befriended each and every member of the local club by sponsoring events and giving away free stuff. For the most part (by my observation) the positive feedback ARE has gotten from the beginning until now has come from the local guys(including some Michigan and NY people). The people who seem to have problems are the out of town guys who send stuff up. The local guys are almost a 100% stand alone support system for Nick and his company. They won't even listen to negative comments past saying the sales pitch words that "things are new and improved and everything is ok". They will support ARE until the bitter end..if it comes. So in closing it doesn't matter what happenned to you they will continue to say good things and ask for second chances.They just wish people with problems will go away and if "money" will do it then that is the plan I don't know if their loyalty is warranted or not. Each person has to make there own choice the same way I chose not to go there in the first place but be rest assured Nick Agostino and ARE is considered to be God and his castle to the TFBM car club. In Toronto in F body(car club) land ARE can do "no wrong".
