97 z28 intake hose/boot?

My intake hose ripped and I'm looking to find a new one and I can't find it ANYWHERE. I've been looking online and all I can find is cold air intakes... Why are these so difficult to find?
And I called all the auto part stores near me and they don't have them.

"Intake hose" is a tad vague, but I'm guessing you're referring to the hard rubber PCV hose? But when you bring up CAIs, I'm not so sure.

Do a search on "97 camaro PCV hose" and see if that's the part you want. If so, you can get one @ a local dealership. It's not that expensive.

If you're referring to the elbow that runs btwn the MAF and throttle body/plenum, it's a cold air inlet. Not sure how yours ripped, since they're made of hard PET, but I doubt it would be a stock item for any auto parts store. You'll likely need to get it on the web.

Search "97 camaro intake elbow" and you'll have some options. Prob. some used ones on eBay.

Summit appears to have one for 93/94 years. Only difference from 95-97 is no hole for the blue plastic elbow for the Opti vent hose. In a pinch easy to drill a new hole.

May have been discontinued by GM. Appears others are starting to make repro parts, somewhat overpriced.

I have my elbow off of the 1997 that I pulled off because the resonator tube/plug was impacting my electric water pump. I had the opti vent plugged with RTV because I 24x swapped the car. I am willing to let the whole unit, including the aluminum resonator plug for $100 + shipping.
