95 lt1 engine/trans, PCM, wire harness into 96 trans am

Okay. I wrecked my 95formula. Bought a 96t/a roller. I'm taking everything out of the 95 for the 96. I ran into a couple issue so far. On the 95 I have a wire that I needed to add in the shock tower connector it's connector C100 pin D it has an orange wire in the 95 bu didn't have one on the 96. So I ran a constant power right to the battery.

Next was in the blue conncector C230. It's pin G a pink wire. I didn't have power there. So I ran a power for that also. It's constant power also.

There also is a plug C210 it has a orange power feed from the 96 hharness (on the vehicle side) but no power coming out on the engine harness side.

Other than these 2 changes I haven't done anything. Now the engine will start if I spray ether in to get it started. It will sputter once or twice then fire and stay running. But just trying to start it on it's own it's doesn't wanna fire. I don't hear the fuel pump kick on when I turn on the key. It seems like it comes on after I quit cranking. I'm lost been playin around for a week. I can't get it figured out.
I'm open to any suggestions!?!

Or Has anyone swapped a older lt1 harness and PCM into a 96-97 car? What all did u do?

C230 G should be switched power. Get it from C220 E.

C210 orange is where you should have picked up the constant power to the PCM that you needed on C100 D.

All these pins are shown in the harness connector faces listing on my website.
In an email reply to you, I suggested you look at trouble codes. You might be lacking the fuel enable signal from the VATS.

I been using your diagrams
Thing is I've been staring at them so long they r starting to look like hyroglyphics. I'm going to do how u just said in this post.
Also I did check the codes earlier today. It's not showing anything in tunerpro Rt.
Again thanks for the help!! That could be the issue since I have constant power to pin G in C230.

Also I checked the drk blue wire on C230 pinE which says theft deter fuel enable I have .05v

I think the pink wire was the one I had wrong. Now when I turn the key on I hear the pump kick on. I accidently left the key on all day and killed the battery so I gotta wait a little bit to try and start it. Fingers crossed

The 96 harness will connect correctly between the 95 engine and 95 PCM. There will be several unused connectors - EVAP vacuum switch, crank position sensor, after-cat O2 sensors - but this will not cause any problems or produce any codes in the 95 PCM. Where you may have a problem is interfacing the 96 engine harness to the 95 body harness. There may be a few mismatches that need to be repinned.

Shoebox has a master list of body harness pinouts for each year (note tabs at bottom of page for each harness connector):

http://shbox.com/1/harness_connector_faces.htm

He also has a 95 harness photo that identifies the location of each connector:

Looking at your two other posts, it is unclear what chassis you are working with. You need to provide more info regarding EXACTLY what you are trying to do, if you want accurate responses. Your questions are lacking in detail.

I need help with the coil configuration on my 95 lt1 swap in to my 96 formula I have both harnesses and pcms I have wired it both ways so far I had obd1 with security light (so no gas) and now I have obd2 with no spark bc I figured I would need 96 coil with 96 harness and pcm and finally done the vats bypass now
