2 things. the guys at Painless wiring told me the computer need to see something from the VSS or it wouldnt run right. it didnt need to be accurate, just something.

also, for a 93, is the vats just a fuel pump enable/disable signal? if i wire the fuel pump up on a relay/switch to the battery, it will still run, right? or does the vats also effect ignition?

You can't order a blank pcm. Yes it's retarded, I tried to do it for my 94 and the napa guy just kinda stared at me funny when I told him I could flash it myself.
