The 385 I've got will rev to 7000 rpm all day long and is still pulling like crazy, It would spin to 7500 although I don't see a need for that. Everything has been balanced and blue printed and I am still using LT1 heads which are about like tin cans after porting and I am only running 5lbs boost for now. It runs on 91 Craptane and I see no KR at all with 30* at WOT. Just go to a competent engine builder and it should be no problem to build a high revving LT1 stroked or not.

If your going to go through all the trouble to adopt a Gen 1 engine, you mind as well adopt the flywheel to the 153 tooth design. Tilton has a kit for it.

If you want to go all out on revs, get a 302 Chevy and go to town on the buildup, nuff said.
