I will say that Edelbrock's castings are high quality stuff.
Vic E. probably doesn't see the LT1 market big enough to enter with an LT1 EFI SuperVic. E'brock once advertised a replacement LT1 manifold, but few (?) were ever built/sold, as far as I know.

2) Converting the SBC carb SuperVic manifold to work on an LT1.
3) 1) + 2) above for LT1 EFI SuperVic.
If you wanted to run a carb on an LT1, you would only do 2) above.

OldSStoker sees them all the time because I seem to have a habit of doing them lately. Hence OLDSStroker and SStrokerAce.
You have to make a Super Vic a EFI intake. Just did one today that's almost finished for a SBC. I've seen a lot of these things done, some of the scare me with injector placement due to bad injector bungs and lack of understanding about fuel spray patterns to the stuff Wilson Manifoldsdoes which is what I emulate.
As OldSStoker said..... You can have a carbed LT1 Super Vic, a EFI Super Vic for a SBC and a EFI Super Vic for a LT1. Hell the one today was a EFI Super Vic for a LT1 with the SBC bolt pattern.
BTW the LT1 bolt pattern is different from the SBC due to the intake manifold bolts being at a different angle. The Vortec heads are very similar except they move the bolt pattern up the intake manifold as well so even that will not just bolt on to a LT1. Fun stuff.

I've always been curious, but too lazy to ask:
What do you charge to convert an intake for an LT1 setup? Do you have the customer supply the parts or is it a finished product kind of deal where they pay at the end.
I'm happy with my intake for now, but one day I might want to try a single plane with a direct port setup.

ok so, i know this if off the topic at this point, but what can i do to make a 11 second car. keep in mind that i have pretty much have every bolt on, my suspention is good, i got subframe connectors, lower control arms, a torque arm, lowering springs, control arm relocation brackets, strut tower brace, and almost every bushing is poly urathane. all of this is not installed yet, but the point is that i have it, i need a new clutch and a 12 bolt but i will have them by the time i am ready to do the engine. i was thinking the comp cams 306 cam and portinng and polishing the the stock heads. im gunna have lt headers and and a high flow cat and prabably borla catback. what can i do to the stock intake? and what kind of power am i looking at? would i be better off getting diffrent heads? its gunna be another year befor this all goes down, when i get back from iraq. i also wanted to thank all of agian for the support, it makes all the unimaginable bull**** that we go through have some kind of porpose.

Frist thing to do is tune the new suspension in before you add power. That right there will teach you a bunch. A stock LS1 with bolt ons, a good tune and valvesprings can go in the 11's with a good suspension. So a good cam could get you there after you dialed the car in. Or look at the power guys get with a LE2, LE1.5 pacakge(400rwhp) Something like that is going to get you pretty dam fast down the track with a good suspension. Going QUICK is about setup, going FAST is about HP.

i am aware of 1, 2, and 3.
just thought that they made it for sbc already efi'd!i guess i need to give you guys a call one day and talk about this stuff for a while.
