Finally Tested Fuel Pressure(rich condition)

Broke down and bought a test gauge. Here are the results:

In the first 2-3 seconds, before the "click": 43psi
After that, KOEO: 36psi
Engine on: 36-38psi, fluctuating rapidly
Pulled vac line: 42-43psi fluctuating rapidly
Turn off: 28psi
Let car sit for about 10mins: pressure actually rose over 32psi

Didn't get a chance to take the car out for a WOT run. Truthfully I think the hose to the gauge might be too short to tape it to the windshield. I'll probably take this one back anyway, and if I need another one I'll order the Hypertech one.

Anyway, it doesn't appear that I'm running rich because of a leaky injector. The pressure did not drop after either the key or car was turned off, it actually went up. I also pulled the vac line and there was no fuel in it that I could see so I think the FPR is ok. However, based on these results what seems to be the most likely culprit for a rich condition? Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA.

Maybe an exhaust leak or bad o2.

Exhaust leak is the only thing I can think of. I have scanned the car numerous times and the 02's are fine.

I have listed the different results in this post:

What I wanted to know though, and the reason I made this post, was if the results I got are normal. In other words, can I eliminate a problem in my fuel system as being the reason I'm running rich?

TTT

I plan on changing the plugs tomorrow. Other than exhaust leaks what else should I pay attention to?

Swapped plugs, and have a ton of pics of the old ones. Here they are for your viewing pleasure. Please give me any insight after viewing them. Some are clearer than others. Plug #1 is the closest to the nose of the car, plug #2 is next back, #3 next back, #4 closest to the firewall.

It seems to be running a bit smoother, but on the scanner it looks like my injectors are still firing too much fuel. Left injectors at about 3.1-3.3mS and the right at about 2.8-3.0 mS.

I checked the connections where my y-pipe meets the exhaust manifolds and it appears to be tight. Though I'm guessing that even a small leak would throw things off. However, with both banks appearing to run rich I'm not sure the leak would be at the y-pipe. Guess I'll keep looking.

Re: Finally Tested Fuel Pressure(rich condition)

Put in a new PCV valve, still running rich. Showing both sides of injectors 2.8-3.3mS. I'm probably going to end up pulling the fuel rail and seeing what the injectors are doing. I'm still stumped.

Edit-In re-reading my Haynes manual I thought about the grounding for the fuel system. In the manual it says that it grounds at the intake manifold. Exactly where does it ground?
