When you do enough mods to each car it doesnt matter if its an LT or an LS.
It's just that they are two completely different engines. A head off your Maxima would have as good of a chance at fitting.

when you have as much low end torque as the lt1, you dont need god on your side.

A little bit of humor is fine, but a couple of these guys have acted like jackasses. My apologies for their lack of consideration. I guess they never had to learn about their cars.

Not really since my maxima is a V6 and the Camaro is a V8. Like I said, i didnt think they would fit, but since i WASNT sure, and i saw a set of ported heads for cheap, i thought i might take a shot. At least I never asked questions like "uhh what exhaust system should i get", or "what paint job might look good with my rainbow license plates". It was a simple question, that true to form with this forum gets every moron after the other saying the same goddamn thing as the 10 guys above them said. I think the person that starts the thread gets the point after the first few responses all say basically the same thing. Unless you have a different opinion or idea then has been given, what is the point in parroting what the guy above said? Really, I would like to see the replys to that question.

You are taking this wwaaayyy too personally. It's just friendly crap talking. The first post I made on this forum was "how do you get the serpintene belt off?" you can only imagine the crap I got. The answer is no, lt1 heads have reverse cooling, those heads dont. they also have a different bolt pattern. i'm sure there are other differences but those are the only ones I know.

just calm down killer

Anyone that's into the car scene should know by now that it involves taking a little ribbing.

No one should have to apologize for that.

You take your shots, realized you asked a silly question and move on. Get over it.

Agreed. Yet once again, people have totally missed the point of what I said. I dont care about taking crap for what was probably a stupid question, we all ask them. I was however tying the fact that in this thread like many others that people do nothing but repeat the exact same thing that 5 other people ahead of them said. And I asked for someone to explain that to me, but in the 3 replies since i posed the question, no one can seem to give a reason. Why is that? Javier, when did i say i was looking for someone to apologize? Show me. Also, I would like to meet the person that can infer a persons level of calmness by reading what they wrote. Danhr, I dont think i am taking it personally, its just annoying to see the same **** over and over from stupid people. But thanks for actually gaving the reasons why they wouldnt work, ie reverse cooling and differant bolt pattern. Thats the only info I needed.

The "multiple answer thing" ties in to the smartass/ribbing part. People just do it to give ya some crap

I know you didn't ask for an apology, I was hinting towards the apology given.

And when that's true, he moves on, and the thread ends.

And therein lies the root of the problem...

It was a tongue in cheek remark... The point was, they are so different. I should have refrained. Enough was said already.

Sorry your thread went off topic. Don't hesitate to ask questions. As Injuneer inferred, you have to ask to learn.

If you spent a ton of time and $$$ on making some kind of adapter plate, and then converting the heads to reverse cooling....then maybe they will fit. But by that time, you could have just put on the 32V heads from Dominion (now Arao Engineering) http://www.araoengineering.com/

If you want to put those maxima heads on your V8...it can be done too. But don't post with a response "Why do I have 2 dead cylinders?"
