383 LT1 Long Block

I am thinking of getting this motor http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/zz4crateengine-1.aspx and I was wondering if it would fit in my 93 Z since this is a long block. Would I have to do any other modifications and any ideas of price for the install?

"Long block" has nothing to do with the external size of the engine or whether it fits in your 93. Its a standard LT1 block and fits the same as the block you already have, because its the same block. "Long block" means its complete with heads and intake (in simple terms) - closer to a complete engine - but still not a complete, ready to run engine. A "short block" is simply the block and rotating assembly. A complete, ready to run engine would be a "crate motor".
