Injector brand?

Anyone suggest a brand of injectors? I talked to Ion (madz28) and he suggested to stay away from Accel's. He suggested 36-42# injectors for the setup I'm wanting, LE2 and custom cam, the CC306 equivalent. I was probably going to go with 42#.

Stock 24# injectors will not work well at 400 RWHP. The duty cycles will be near 100% which is bad on the injector.

I am making 412RWHP and my 30# SVO's were at 90% DC which is still too high. I am now runnin Racetronix 37# (untuned) and dont yet know what their DC's will be.

I'm looking at doing the LE2 package too. What cam are you running? I'm looking at the one he says is similiar to the CC306.

Many recommend ford SVO injectors, same goes for racetronix, which is what I have.

I chose 42lb injectors.

He is going heads/cam. LE recommends injectors. I would listen to a respectable tuner that has been there/done that. Hell there have been bolt on small cam guys maxing out injectors.

Fords are good. Check out http://www.racetronix.com/. They sell good quality products. Many many people from this forum have bought their products and been happy with the results, myself included.

FIC sells rebuilt Bosch III injectors, and best of all the are upgradeable.

What injector does racetronix use? I ordered my 42lb injectors 02-07, and not really sure what they sent. (brand)

I believe they might be lucas.

Just bought off Ebay a set of Bosch III 48# with EV1 connections and correct length for lt1 from FIC for $239 plus $19 shipping (use a live.com - Ebay "Buy It Now" - and Paypal account to get 8% cash back). These atomize the fuel way better than the old fat bosch type II. Seems like it makes sense to always go with the 48# because the computer needs to be set for whatever larger size you go with anyway. 48# is the max these can go to. Of course all you need do is up the fuel pressure to can get even more flow out of them. These are custom made by FIC to flow from 33 to 48 and can be set to either LS1 length /EV6, or LT1 length /EV1. Here is the link. Call and ask them to put on Ebay with the Buy It Now option. http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/sh...&productId=179

Oh, and FIC will buy back your old injectors for like $40 (at least my old junky svo 24#). What a deal!

Hal
(No, I don't work for FIC nor receive any payment from them. Just trying to call attention to a great deal!)

I'm running FIC Bosch III 33lb injectors. I don't know exactly why, maybe they respond quicker than our PCM's. But, they were difficult to tune, not just set the injector constant and go. Update us on how they work.

Oh btw, Jon from FIC has the best customer service in the business.

I'm going to be running a 36# Bosch III which, according to Jon at FIC, is a good injector and can be found cheap. I think I got all 8 of mine for around $70. It will be another $90 to have them "rebuilt" but I will have a good 36# basically new injector for $160.

You get them cheap from GP (ClubGP is where I found mine). Forums - they come stock in 3800V6 SC Series motors. Someone on this forum is the one who told me about these, maybe he'll chime in.
