383 Le2 Wanting More Power What Can I Do?
You'll get it worked out...Its a machine and all machines can be fixed...I would not be so quick to go bigger on the cam, though...Like I said earlier I'm trapping 119.75 with a smaller cam than you have...and if my calculations are correct I'll be over 120 with 4.10s...

What else are you wanting? I/we have told you everything about your log. You need to do some searching and see if you can't get your vacuum problem figured out. Take it back to the dyno, make a pull, and see how it does. Then, come back and let us know how it does and if there still is a problem.
A LE2 383 package makes 500hp+ on the engine dyno, and that's Golens dyno with their short block so something is up. This cam is tame on a 383 but makes for a hell of a street car setup, and it shouldn't cause that much idle issues.....
That much kpa at those loads is silly, something is up there. Did you use gaskets behind the TB? How are the intake manifold gaskets sealing? All the vacuum ports in the side of the intake sealed off? The EGR and AIR at the back of the intake sealed off? The too much idle set screw can do this as well. It sounds like a vacuum leak from what Benji is listing.

Have to agree with Brent that you have to make what you have work first before going on. Made 441 rwhp with just a 234/242 cam on a 114 with basically those exact same heads. You need to get what you have working before worrying about what to do next. I see this much more often that I'd like to see it but making hp is more than just bolting a few parts on. The bolting stuff on is the easy part.......making them work is the hard part.
