I remember that post. I wouldn't 'add' anything trying to make more power. You should be making more power already. No sense in masking the problem further. You could benefit from richening it up a tad (but not enough to totally make up the missing hp). Did you ever get the knock retard taken care of? Do you happen to have the tune? If you email it to me, I'll take a look at it. If you haven't taken care of the knock retard, I can retard the timing a little in those areas. Send me the log and the program. You should probably take the car to the track and see how it does. I've seen some pretty goofy dyno numbers from cars that were damn quick at the track (and on the street).

With TunerCAT, just go to one of the drop down menus (I think it's 'Options', but I don't remember) at the top and hit 'Read PCM'. Make sure the key is in the ON position (it will prompt you for this) and hit OK. It's also a good idea to put a battery charger on the battery (I do when I can) and pull the fan relays so that you don't get any voltage spikes. Then, once it's in the laptop, hit 'save as' and save it on your desktop or where ever. Then, go to the same drop down menu and hit 'Program PCM'. It will prompt you again and it will start loading the tune back in. Finally, email it to me with a copy of the log. It's pretty easy.

If youre seeing knock, that can suck a whole lot of power!

For tuning purposes go into your kncok tables ,zero out the lower ranges and see if the knock sensor sees any actual knock (it will still read the knock , it just won't adjust the timing down for it) Also listen really hard for it as well.

Discontinue this if you hear any sparkknock.

Edit, Forgot to tell you to make sure youre octane is good when searching for that false knock.

It reads it. your car will still run like it did before.
now you take that file and make changes to it and program the PCM, those changes will now be in the PCM.
