Cool 383 Le2 Wanting More Power What Can I Do?

a list of my mods are in my sig, now im looking to make more power, at the dyno i put down 367rwhp as in my previous post and i think i have every mod i can think of besides nitrious but i was hoping not to go that route and stay N/A any other ideas or opinions im starting to think that going N/A was a mistake and that i should have gone with a blower. could be just me though.. maybe im just doing something wrong heres my data log

What cam are you using? That info would be helpful for us to make suggestions

thats a baby cam for a 383...you should at least have something the size of a 847
a 306 is big for a 350 but not huge, for a 383 its kinda like a hotcam, so with a cam swap i bet you could get 385 out of it...

If you are only putting down 367 with a LE2 then you need to address some other issues. I know you have an auto so what are your track times. That thing should be a beast on the streets. What is it that you want out of your car? To be faster or just to make more power? If you just want it to have it and are not really going to use it then I would figure out how much is enough. If you want to stay N/A then I would go with a single plane conversion and some better heads to feed that thing. How often do you driv e it? If it's your daily then I wouldn't go with that much bigger of a cam.

le2 should still make better numbers. through a stall and a4 I'd say it should still really move if it is setup right with no problems.

right now its driven pretty often i want to have the power there all the time just in case of a Z06 or a cobra pulling next to me, you see with the nitrious id have to open the bottle and go through the hassle

Get a remote bottle opener lol. Plus the sound of the cam with the a nitrous purge line would be sweet.

would jumping from 3.23 gears to 373 make that much of a diff and does (excuse my ignorance) adding gears give you more hp at the tires

How does your graph look? Is it smooth? How about A/f? Has Bryan retuned it?

I think there is a little bit left in it, but I would for sure want a bigger cam.

Can you post a graph? That might help a little. Is it running out of steam too early?

I bet it makes awesome tq, but I am on stock heads, no where near the flow of a set of LE heads and I am making a decent bit more. (m6 yes I know)

What are the specs on the bottom end? Its not real low comrpession or something wierd is it?

What a/f did you have? Was it dyno tuned? Do you have the graph?

Edit: ^^^Beat me to it.

well heres my old post with the graph its pretty blurry though and the reasonit looks the way it does is i believe that the tuner didnt use the smoothing factor but A/F was 13.1 heres the link.. hows it going benji http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=475481

Form what I have seen on here most guys with your setup run the LE4 cam. Also I would have to go with what the others have said and have it dyno tuned.

With an A4 3.73s will help you out a bit as would a good converter...I don't stress over dyno numbers too much...I see your trans is stock...is the coverter, too? without totally knowing the specs of your cam its hard for me to pass judgement on it, but lets just say that my cam in my 383 is 226/234 and is considered a weeeeenie cam for a 383, but it has shown my car's tail lights to many cars with much bigger cams...

I would run it at the track and see where your trap speed is...don't worry at all about ET as its a function of traction, but the mph will tell you how you are doing...3.73s would be a good way to go in an A4, though...with a 3.06 first gear in the 4L60E it really hits hard off the line and will pull hard on top end in the 1/4, but you'll still be able to DD the car if you do...
