actually the stockers would make it leaner, with the ecm set for the 37lbers. mine are 57 and i had to pull them back some to get the trims closer.

I was just thinking that I you have fuel all over your intake then you have to have to much fuel, and that may be why you are bogging so badley. If you did try to run smaller injectors you would for sure have to re flash the ecm. You may need to re check that you did set the ecm for 37#ers.

maybe i should try re installing those stock injectors and see what happens. the thing is on the scan I posted it does not look like there is a significant decrease in the long term fuel curve or even the short term. If the ECU was not tuned for 37lb injectors wouldent the ecu be trying to pull the fuel trim because the car is running rich? and if it was running rich my 02s would of been reading really high?

Alright guys i installed my stock injectors and got some other issues. The car is deff not running rich. I dont smell gas coming out the exhaust like i did with the other injectors. I dont think the car is missfiring but it sounded like it might have at first I am unsure because the car shut off then when i started it, it was running fine. The problem that im having now is that the idle is moving up and down and then he car stalls out. It dident do this with the 37lb injectors. Is this because the car is running lean or is it something else. I unpluged the ICM to and the idle still moves up and down then the car stalls. It starts right up every time. Also i have the throttlebody cracked open to lower the ICM counts. I dont know what they are since i dont have a scanner but the throttle is open. WHat do you guys think.

are your plugs fouled out? you need a scanner or cable and download data master to see what is really going on. also you didn't mean ICM did you, maybe you meant MAF?

no i was talking about the idler moter. The IAC. (ICM for wrong type of car) The good news is that the car was not hesitating at all wich is good. But I still have the ideling issue and now i have that harmonic balancer issue to deal with that i started another thread for. Ill pull out the plugs and see what they look like. A lean mixture would not cause the idle to act like that would it? Where can I dl data master and what cable works for it?

I think you will still feel the idle surge untill you get the ECM retuned to the right size injectors and make sure that your opti is OK and your plugs are not fouled.

This is not making since. With the stock injectors, car has no hesitation does not stumble or miss but it will not idle. If I use the 37lb injectors the car will stumble miss and hesitate and the exhaust will smell like gas during hesitation. If the car wont hesitate with the stock injectors then the problem cant be the opti correct? It seems like the ECU just is not tuned correctly.

Your saying the car is surging because i have the wrong size injectors in there. I.E. the car is surging because its lean.

Yet the car is running rich with 37lb injectors until warm. I cant even scan the car till i replace the harmonic balancer.

if it runs fine when it gets warm , it sounds like a open loop tune issue. cause you know the 02s aren't being read in open loop. what state you live in?

colorado. mile high. the map sensor should be reading that and allowing the ecu to compensate.

i have some family there but none of them are into the car scene. can you find someone with a cable. instead of using a scanner and run datamaster, so we can see the readings? if you can find out that it is starting to clear up right when it goes to closed loop, that would help.

crap i never noticed your year model or the fact you didn't go to a obd1 setup. lt1 edit doesn't offer a free reader for obd2 either. http://www.autotap.com/ might be a decent choice. i have never used it, so you might want to do a search and see the general input on it.
