Question 2 Questions from a new comer???

I recently owned a 91 5.0 mustang but crashed it. So i just got a 1994 Camaro 3 months ago. Its a lot better all the way around. I have 2 questions:
1. I recently went to the track, bone stock Z28, 70000 miles with a 6 speed, and ran a 14.17 @98.98 mph. 60 foot time was 2.250. Is this about how fast i should have ran?

2. Recently i have a bad hesitation. Everytime i put the throttle 3/4 the way down or WOT it bogs down big time. It hesitates bad everytime i floor it basically. i used to catch 3rd now I barely catch 2nd. PLease help!

mods are only, a catback exhaust and a highflow cat: What would be the next best thing to buy for some HP gains?

Did you wash the motor down? Just asking becasue its common to detail it alittle when you get a new car. Anyway, the optispark usually doesn't like that and moisture has cause many to go bad.

1. Yes that's about average for stockers
2. This could be anything from a dirty fuel filter to old 02 sensors needing replaced, wires, plugs, etc. Start with a 20 dollar fuel filter and search the SEARCH feature here, you'll get a ton of stuff.
3. I would highly recommend a CAI (Cold Air Intake), K&N, Moroso, homemade, whatever but a good HI-FLO CAI will also wake your car up for about 150 bucks.
4. Tires will not give you rwhp but will DEFINITELY shave tenths off your ET's.
5. Last but not least when you can spring $$$ for longtube headers I'd recommend Jethot LTs and a custom Y pipe or aftermarket. It's a solid 17-22 rwhp mod...and about 14 hrs if your working by yourself

congrats on your fbody.

I would have to say that those are very good times. I believe the first thing I would do it give it a good going over, including plugs, etc. (plugs real PIA). Get help here.

As far as mods, I'd suggest starting with a CAI along with the freebies, like TB bypass.JMHO

Probably doesn't have to be but mostly likely it is.
