Exclamation 12-bolt swap

I had the stock rear with 2.73 gears and I just upgraded to a Moser 12-bolt assembly with 3.73 gears.

My problem is that after I go faster than about 73 mph the ABS INOP light on the instrument cluster goes on and then it will go out when the car is shut down and then restarted, but then the same will happen at 73 mph again.

Anyone with any ideas?

You did swap your old ABS sensor to the new rear-end correct? Maybe they didnt have the ABS option in your rear-end from Moser???

Is your chip reprogrammed for the new gear ratio?

I ordered the rear from Moser with ABS option and I am pretty sure that the sensor from my old rear was properly installed into the new rear.

As far as the computer chip, why would it have to be reprgrammed?
I have the TH-700-R4 trans and I did not have to alter the shifting by changing the springs and weights in the govener and I recallibrated the speedometer by swapping out the drive and driven gear set.
Is there any other reason the chip needs reprogramming?

Try cleaning the sensor, maybe there's some metal shavings or something. Did you clean it before you put it in? Check your wire too.
