i have a couple questions on a motor buildup im planning...

i want to use cc306, 6 inch rods, and about 11.5 CR...i want it to run on 93 octane...is this possible with 11.5CR?...if not, whats max CR with 93 octane?

also, which heads would yall recomend for that setup?...im leaning toward some AFR stage 2 heads...but i really dont know a whole lot about lt1 heads

also, little off topic...is a stock lt1 hydraulic roller?...if so..all cams for it are either solid roller or hydraulic correct?...the cc306 is HR?...thanks alot guys

 

Yep. The stock LT1 is hydraulic roller. The CC306 is
hydraulic roller as well.

I don't know about the rest of your stuff though.

 

You can run more or less compression based on the cam.

How many cubes are you looking at here? What's the rest of the setup?

Kind of need to know what kind of budget to recomend heads and other parts.

stock crank .030 over...so a 355 ...im looking at about $3500 max...ide like to stay under 3k though...its got jet hot long tubes, i can get it programed after the build up...cc306 cam, 1.6RR...staying hydraulic roller...afr stage 2 heads i think...dunno yet about the heads...6 inch rods...what else do you need to know?
