The hood wont help u that much. Its better to get u a FTRA and it will work better than the SS hood.

Hell, just do th Free Ramair mod, the SS hood is mainly for cosmetics, it doesn't perform like the WS6 hood. FTRA (fast toys ramair) is one of the top ram air kits you can buy for the f-body. check this link

Scroll down a little and you will find it.

Are you guys talking about an original SS hood??? Cause he's got a suncoast hood. It's got a bigger cowl and the cutout for the air going into the box is huge compared to the stock SS hood. He's asking about the airbox that comes with the suncoast hood, cause the filter on that is huge and opens to the top to take advantage of the cutout in the hood.

Are you guys saying that this isn't needed cause it doesn't help any? Does the FTRA flow better than the suncoast kit??? Right now he's running the stock airbox cause his airlid wouldn't fit under the hood. All he is running on is the free ram air mod I did for him cause the front hole in the box is covered by the new hood.
Sorry for the length.

Thanks,
Kyle
