Does anybody know if suncoast cuts the hole on the underneath of their predator hood different if its meant to help cool the engine and not for functional ram air?

I bought a predator hood off a ebay and the hole underneath is a rectangle and not a square like the air box.

 

The air box Suncoast Creations sells for their Predator hood is a rectangle, and matches up to the hole in the hood. They give you foam to glue in around the hole on the bottom of the hood to seal it, and all the air is meant to go through the air box, not to cool the engine.

 

The hole in my hood is like 2 inches wide and 18 inches long. I thought the air box is more square.
