MAF questions???

i have already put a good catback and a SLP lid on my Z,
and im thinking the next step should be the MAF.

could i get everyones thought and opinions........
what brand? easy install? prices? what to look for? etc etc.!

anything posted is a help!

Most people will say a larger or different maf will do nothing for someone that is basically stock. You have a lid & catback, I'd say get the ftra or ssra and then move into chassis and suspension upgrades. SFC's are a good place turn to next.

or save up for headers

I wouldn't worry about a new MAF until you're making over 600hp at the flywheel.

If/when you get to that point, buy an OEM unit so you can easily get the matching MAF calibration for the PCM. The stock units with ported ends and/or descreened allow more air in, but it's at a lower velocity, so it throws off the calibration.

what they said..... i have the 85mm zo6 maf from LS1speed.com and i dont think it did very much. i would look for other mods
