BTW, the "ram-air" on SS cars is IMO worthless. The Pontiac system might add a few ponies, but the Chevy set-up with the 180 degree bends is pretty lame. My SS hood came with all the "ram-air" plumbing, but I think the car breathes plenty well from the bottom...especially with a FTRA or SSRA scoop.

that's why I agree with the "cool air" opinion, because it's really not "ram air". Either way you are just splitting hairs between a Z28 and an SS. I just like mine because it looks good, turns more heads, and holds its value better. Otherwise, I don't really care as long as it has an LS1. About the 320 rwhp dyno, two exactly the same cars can come off of the assembly line at exactly the same time, and one WILL BE faster than the other. That's just the way it always has been. You just have to hope you got a good one when you get yours.
