. As far as the OP goes, what happens when the car is running and you go WOT? Does the car bog or seem to choke at all? This would indicate a fuel pump issue as well.

That's an interesting idea, you may be onto something. After the I did everything above I turned my key to on (not start) for a few seconds and let the security light go off then fired it up. That was the shortest/best start time I've had today.
Could by fuel pump be going out or fuel filter be ready to swap out?

If it's the first, I'll say it's the check ball in the fuel pump letting pressure bleed off requiring a longer prime, thus extended cranking. If it's the later, I say ignition switch.
