yea this is a pretty bad combo....my car ran 13.70s with a lid and loudmouth w/2.73s, stock converter and street tires.

Since everyone in this thread LOVES dyno #'s...Explain this:
98 3.23 a4 stock converter
dyno'd 278/299 -- and ran a 12.84 @ 109.98
full weight
more proof that dyno #'s are bull****
Nice times, what exactly is fairly stock? I am honestly not trying to be a smart a** but if those are stock quarter mile times that might be some kinda record for an auto car. Nice work(wish my car had 3.23)

im betting drag radials, longtubes, lid, ASP Pulley. thats about what i figure my car would run without the converter. i know of a guy goin 12.60s with headers/bolt ons and a stock converter on drag radials at about the same trap speed.

Good thing you aren't a betting man. Don't own DR's (just ET Streets but I dont like/use them), don't wanna spend $ on LT's, and don't have a pulley, but I might get one.
