dyno results, what about your ls1
Dyno numbers mean jack s**t, IMHO.
With a lid, FRA and the Predator tuning my car layed down 383rwhp and 406rwtq (SAE corrected on a Dynojet). Yet, I was only running around 108-109 traps. That is far from adding up.
Some people's dyno numbers may not be nearly as high as mine but just because they're numbers may be believable, that doesn't make them accurate.
Get to a track and put down some real numbers. Dyno numbers are for bench racing and/or bragging rights, that's it.
Now, I'll admit that they can be helpful if you want to go to the same dyno everytime and see the before and after numbers, after a mod(s). That doesn't mean the numbers themselves will be accurate but the difference between the two numbers should be fairly accurate and that's what counts. You should get a pretty good idea of how much headers or a cam or whatever helped.
Not trying to sound like a complete a**hole here, I just think a lot of folks take dyno numbers way to seriously.

330 RWHP (SAE Corrected) with a lid and a cutout. 2001 WS6, M6
Dyno was made on Hypertech's Dynojet, so I trust their numbers. The sheet can be found here: http://www.wtfba.org/dyno/ <---- Roger Cotton (no direct linking allowed, sorry)

317.9rwhp 325.6rwtq
Track times: 13.3 @ 107.8 with a 2.187 60' at stock tire pressure.
2. With MAF ends ONLY, still paper filter
325rwhp and 350rwtq
Not underrated my as$$ !!

Nice numbers! Makes me feel good about how my car may dyno when I get the time to do it again. My first dyno with my '00 Z28 A4 with only a lid/filter was 296. I have the Loud Mouth now and haven't dynoed since.
All this talk about adding 20% and such. Does it really matter when the only power that matters is what gets to the ground?

WOW!!!
I too have a factory freak motor. I'm figuring that I have 10,000 rwhp. Lets see, 40% of that is taken away by oxygen, another 22.4% by gravity, and yet another 13.6% is taken away by my own weight in the car.
Man, I can smoke a z06 corvette, vipers, you name it, but it all depends on how much crack i've smoked that day.

dyno's are only good to show gains from mods...and only if you use the same one over and over

What mods do you have on your A4 SS ?
