I'd have to agree on that one....unless ur a pro driver ur not gonna be able to get a near stock 6 speed to hang with a high stalled automatic, especially if the auto is on a drag radial or ET street....

i like M6 cars and would have bought one if i didnt have to commute with the damn thing but do me a favor and dont call my car gay just because i dont have to ride a clutch through NY traffic everyday.....

You keep saying high stalled a4... that means its not stock. stock vs. stock how much do they differ in 1/4 times.

looks like we are about to have another m6 vs a4 argument. I honestly don't think it matters. Throw this on this one and youll be faster throw this on the other and it will be faster. I've seen vid of both an m6 ls1 and a a4 ls1 both doing a 9 sec quarter mile so as far as modifying for racing goes either one is fine. As far as stock there are stock a4's with the 3.23 gears hitting very low 13s and there are m6 cars hitting very low 13s. It is all a prefrence thing.

well..... after a good rear end and clutch you will be able to stage at 6,000 rpm and pull just as hard or harder than whatever stall you wanna put in ur car. i'll keep my M6 and own you on the highway untill i learn how to **** REALLY well and then take ya from a stop

just fueling the fire........ M6's are for play and autocross while A4 is for hardcore dragracing and daily driving though

But you started this thread asking what mods you should do. So why do you now care about stock vs stock? You made a bad comment that fueled a little fire but we should all let it go now.

Just let this thread die because there is nothing more to see here that's worth reading.

Later bro, good luck with your future ride and next time choose your comments a little more carefully.

It still is about what I first posted, about getting the most out of my car without going to far. I want a great daily driver without going overboard. That sickass low-end power but without going crazy... so its still about what I posted initially... just with a little twist.

The stock vs. stock was because someone posted about a highstalled a4 vs. a stock m6... thats it
