What resistor can I use to replace my windshield washer fluid level sensor?

You have to tell us a bit more about your car, particularly the year and model.

Are you sure the "red light" on the dash isn't for "low coolant"? That's a common problem, ususally the level sensor on the radiator. The black device on the front/top of the WW reservoir is the pump. I've never seen one with a level sensor.

Tell me what page of the owner's manual tells about this light and where it is on the dash.

If it looks like this, it is low coolant.

I am afraid your "guy" does not know what he is looking at.

You can download an owner's manual from my website, if you wish.
